KFC is having their promotion on their new menu KFC Colonel Rice. I had my lunch this afternoon at KFC Wisma Merdeka. Look, cool costume huh!! and great smile makes perfect picture.
KFC should be more localised - propose that they serve bamboo chicken in Sarawak and to add the bambangan dish to Sabah. The funny thing about buying bambangan at the market as it happened to me in KK when I was at the market... they told me their bambangan is 'halal' ...aisey, bambangan ada juga halal n non halal punya ka... i ingat daging saja?
Anonymous - pardon me for the ignorance, maybe its part of being a non sabahan, but the bambangan don't exactly have anything labeled 'Halal' Logo or 'Ingredients' list. I would like to know because when I came back from Sabah my muslim frens from Sarawak (former UiTM Menggatal frens) requested for some and I gave them. Before that they took some from me without asking when i returned from Sabah, now I don't even dare to offer them if there is such a thing as halal and non halal. Only when it was my last trip in July I discovered this. I have to warn them before hand now if there is such a thing.
hah? i thought muslims can eat tapai leh? in the supermarkets they sell tapai rice pudding wat. don't call us ignorant la... not nice. we just dunno. if like dat quiz you on world knowledge and then when u dunno i call you ignorant, ok?

dont be so ignorant la . it means whether it is like tapai as bambangan is a preserved delicacy. halal&haram are not only limited to food.
