Day 7 - Wellington

We took the Intercity coach again from Palmerston North to Wellington at 4.45am....so awal !!!! coz we don't wanna waste our time sampai sana tengahri, then half day gone, sebab 5.30pm gelap sudah & all the shops will be closed. Luckily this time our ticket ada murah, $27/pp student fare, normal $34/pp. Kami guna Janice punya student ID card hehe...

So we arrived Wellington at 6.50am at the train station, temperature at 8 degree celcius...this time kami betul-betul blur, dunno mana which bus to naik pigi city. We can see the working people all wearing black..(sya rasa macam di New York ni..) jalan pi ni satu direction saja, so kami pun ikut saja...but dorang punya step jalan punya laju like 10x faster dari jalan kita biasa, terpaksa Gerry suruh sya jalan sana siring supaya tidak block dorang jalan....

It felt like hours just to cari the the hotel, with all our heavy luggage, sudah lah sajuk, tidak cukup tidur, lapar lagi...finally kami nampak tu Comfot Hotel, the receptionist guy not so friendly, so sya suruh Gerry yang urus...trus dia bilang 2.00pm baru boleh check in, but we can simpan our luggage at their luggage room. Nasib Janice ada bikin kami sandwich, kalau tidak mau lagi cari restaurant.

Then we asked the receptionist guy how to go to the Cable Car, dia tunjuk dalam map "Its just 10mins walking distance..." skali, manada walking distance!!!! kurang asam, puuunya jauh kami jalan lagi....
Cable Car fare $4.50/pp return. We should see Wellington City from up here, but hujan...kuang kuang kuang...

Then Janice suggested yang kami mesti visit Te Papa, its a national museum yang sangat besar 4 ka 5 tingkat tu...tidak habis kami round, sebab penat sudah.

At 12.30pm kami dapan check in juga, nasib lain receptionist...Room cost us $99, menyesal tidak book di internet $88 saja. but still we prefer di Rotorua punya bilik...

After mandi, sambung jalan-jalan lagi...tiada juga apa-apa sini wellington ni...

We ternampak kedai "adult shop" berabis sya mo bawa Gerry masuk, actually since di Rotorua lagi kami nampak bah tu, tapi Gerry tiamau masuk. But this time dia agree...mau tinguk-tinguk saja bah...!! hihi.

At nite, Gerry titiakan tu Thai soup tom yam, nasib banyak restaurant Thai sana, tidaklah kami round-round. Then after dinner, apa lagi kalau bukan tu pokies...kami pi main at this one irish pub...this time tiada nasib :(
