We arrived Auckland around 3am... im still nervous of the immigration, coz banyak lagitu kami bawa kinoring, liniking, udang kering, bilis, badu & takob bakob for Janice.
I got through immigration but not Gerry...nah lagilah saya nervous. They just wanna ask a few questions, maybe because Gerry's passport baru saja kana renew...they asked where we work, purpose pigi NZ, how long, where we gonna stay, how much money we bring...segala-gala lah. then last-last, got through juga. tapi kinoring and liniking kana rampas, cos tidak tau what type of fish kami bawa. Bilang Gerry, mesti dorang bawa balik rumah makan tu. hehe.
At 4am kami masih lagi di airport...were waiting for
Airbus that going to the city that will first depart at 5.50am. So we bought our bus ticket from the ticket machine cost us $15/per person just outside the aiport, time ni kami terkejut sudah how sajuk di luar sampai ada wap kluar from hidung & mulut time bernafas....trus apalagi kami, ber "hoh" "hoh" main asap macam budak-budak...hehe. but 5min saja trus masuk balik coz malatup sajuk.
lapar sudah. Then kami tunggu lagi till McDonald buka at 5am. We bought the breakfast meal $6.50, ada hotdogs lagi. but i dont like the taste, ada bau kambing. then tiada lagi chili sauce... tidak biasa makan plain.
We decided not to stay di Auckland, trus pigi straight to Rotorua. Sebab malas lagi mau tunggu sampai 2pm mau check-in hotel (hotel policy), buang masa saja.
So kami turun dari bus di
Intercity Terminal, dekat sky city. by that time office belum buka lagi. 7am baru buka... mau 20mins juga lah kesejukan mau tunggu tu office buka.

Waitomo caves which gonna cost us $65/pp then baru pigi Rotorua. Then i asked the ticket person mana lagi bagus, pigi waitomo ka Rotorua. He said, its not worth it to go waitomo, coz the fare is too expensive and the tour pun less an hour saja, he said better go straight to Rotorua & he gave me the super saver price $16/pp Auckland-Taurangga-Rotorua. At least dapat tinguk 2 tempat lagi...cool, woohoo!!! Im so happy..
So we took the intercity bus from Auckland to Tauranga then Rotorua. double decker lagi tu bus, Gerry trus suruh saya cari tempat yg atas punya.
dalam bas pun mau kena pakai seat belt, kalau tidak fine $150...Gerry patah sudah.As for now, we are officially tidak mandi for more than 24hrs...jalan saja non-stop. After sampai Tauranga, mau tukar bus lagi pigi Rotorua.
Double decker bus... tunggu bag kana kasih kluar.It rained masa kami sampai Rotorua , we can smell sudah tu sulphur like telur busuk all over the town. Intercity bus stop right in front of the
i-site office, ada lagi small kolam of air panas, like hot spring di bus stop, tapi sya malu ambil gambar.
Bagagar-gagar sudah saya sambil cari the
Grand Hotel Rotorua sebab kana hujan + super cold angin. 2 blocks later, sampai juga tu hotel...itu pun Gerry yg nampak...sya masih blur blur lagi.
the reception guy pun bagus lagi, and suggested kami ambil the
premier double twin coz baru saja kana renovate. just $10 difference from the standard double. Premier Double twin room cost us $75/per night. Bathroom & bedroom exactly the same as in their
website. I chose this hotel, because its in middle of town centre & yang paling murah compared with other hotels. Found out about this hotel at

i really like the bathroom especially..
bedroom for 3 person, ada air-cond lagi. First I thought, buat apa ada air-cond kalau sudah pun sajuk....tapi air-cond to kasih panas pula...hehe, so budu...nasib sya tidak pi cakap sama tu reception begitu.
After mandi, kami trus kluar cari makan, I saw Dominos pizza was having a promotion of its large pizza from $10.90 to $7.90... no table at Domino's, so makan saja di waiting chair dorang. We didnt do much on this 2nd day, coz its raining. so just jalan-jalan di town centre saja.
